Counter-Balance Forklift

This safety training is designed for workers who may operate sit-down counterbalance machines.

Service Description

What can you expect from our class? Upon completion of this training, workers will understand: - Define the type of forklift they operate and describe its capabilities and limitations. - Describe the basic principles of forklift operation. - Describe correct procedures for picking up, moving and stacking loads. - Describe the main components of the forklift with emphasis on the lifting/handling systems. - And much more. Participants are required to demonstrate their skill and understanding of the safe operating techniques learned in the classroom. They will demonstrate their ability to: - Operate the lift truck within safe limits. - Safely handle the lift truck while traveling with and without a load. - Exhibit proper loading and unloading techniques. Course duration including practical evaluation: 8 hours. Certification valid for 3 years.
